Koa means joyful in Maori and that’s what we hope you will feel in our lovely garden studio nestled amongst mature New Zealand native trees and shrubs, serenaded by bellbirds.

It is the perfect space for a retreat and rejuvenation.

The studio is self-contained with cooking facilities, its own verandah, deck and sun-drenched patio. With a queen-sized bed, quality fittings and total privacy, it is a special place to stay.

Our tariff is $125 for one night, and 2 or more nights $100 per night, which provides you with accommodation and a delicious breakfast.

Koa Cottage is situated close to the end of the Little River Railtrail in the picturesque township of Little River, just 28 kilometres from Akaroa and 45 minutes from Christchurch – your ideal holiday base to explore the wonders of Banks Peninsula.
